Partnered with a full service multi-disciplinary engineering firm that's in search for a Transportation Project Manager that specializes in Roadways/Highways. The ideal person for this role has experience with leading highway planning and design projects, developing and analyzing alternative solutions, and overseeing professional staff. This opportunity functions in more of a regional capacity and will need someone who can help build out their business in Tennessee.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and/or planning for transportation projects
- Mentor junior engineering/tech staff on tasks related to design and/or planning
- Have an understanding of highway design standards and apply them to transportation projects
- Ability to work in a team environment and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 10-20 years of experience in transportation/highway design engineering
- PE License in TN
- Excellent experience with MicroStation, GeoPak, InRoads, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D
Preferences:
- TDOT experience
- Alternative delivery project experience
