Job Title: Project Coordinator
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with experience using Viewpoint construction management software to support our project management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and administration of construction projects, ensuring seamless communication, documentation, and organization throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities:
Viewpoint Administration:
- Utilize Viewpoint construction management software to manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and drawings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and logs within Viewpoint, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for project stakeholders.
Communication Management:
- Facilitate communication between project team members, subcontractors, vendors, and clients using Viewpoint's communication tools, such as emails, RFIs, and transmittals.
- Assist in organizing and distributing project-related communications, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of information.
Document Control:
- Manage document control processes within Viewpoint, including document distribution, tracking, and revision control.
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurately recorded, categorized, and archived in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Schedule Coordination:
- Assist in maintaining project schedules and milestones within Viewpoint, including updating progress, tracking delays, and communicating schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure alignment between project schedules and resource allocations.
Quality Control Support:
- Assist in quality control processes by tracking and documenting inspections, testing, and corrective actions within Viewpoint.
- Work closely with project teams to address any quality issues or deficiencies identified during inspections or audits.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate and distribute project reports and analytics using Viewpoint's reporting tools, providing insights into project performance, costs, and progress.
- Assist in analyzing project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Viewpoint construction management software, including Document Management, Project Management, and Field Management modules.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and reporting.
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and best practices.
