Your Key Responsibilities
Manage water/wastewater treatment or sewer/water conveyance projects up to $5M in size, with medium risk and/or complexity.
Develops project management plan for projects; establishes goals and objectives for unique and complex projects.
Responsible for successfully establishing projects to achieve budget, schedule, and contractual obligations.
Assists business leaders in project revenue forecasting.
Oversees proposals including development of the scope and level of effort of comparable size.
May have local business development, client service, and account management responsibilities.
Provides input into practice improvement initiatives.
Undertakes decisions and recommendations governed by general policy and project management governance.
Exercises initiative in adapting and applying procedures to address unusual problem situations and resolve most conflicts.
Assists Project Staff in resolving complex problems and decision making
In partnership with Project Technical Leads, accountable for the quality and delivery of projects.
Will supervise local staff and responsible for providing mentoring and coaching for future leaders, including development of succession plans for key positions.
Developing client relationships to facilitate project activities.
Promoting collaboration and teamwork across business lines and geographies.
All other duties as required and assigned.

Education and Experience
Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Experience: Minimum of 10 to 12 years related experience in project management, preferably for water/wastewater projects.
Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio required
Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout, involving internal personnel, subconsultants, contractors, and vendors.
Demonstrated successful experience in client service management.
Demonstrated successful experience in leadership, including defining and setting the direction for a team, project, and office; strategy development; change management; and corporate stewardship.
Demonstrated successful experience in decision making, including making sound defensible business decisions; and identifying, assessing, evaluating and solving complex problems.
Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving, and risk management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Travel to other offices as well as to project sites may be required.
This position will be based in Columbus, OH and is eligible for relocation assistance.
