Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer - St Louis, MO
Introduction:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water/Wastewater (W/WW) Engineer to join our client's team in St Louis. Our client is a well-established civil engineering firm, that has a stronghold on projects in the water/wastewater industry, being a national firm with projects locally, regionally, national and international. They are continually looking to expand their practice around their talented engineers and are looking to make a hire in alignment with their 2024 growth plans.
Responsibilities:
As the Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of water/wastewater engineering projects from conception through execution while ensuring compliance with industry regulations:
- Design and overview of Water/Wastewater Projects
- Developing project scopes, budgets, schedules
- Conducting site investigations
- Designing systems using CAD software
- Preparing reports on findings/recommendations
Experience and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or Similar
- 7+ years experience working within relevant fields such as water/wastewater treatment design, pipelines, sewer systems, pump stations, lift stations, etc.
- Water quality modelling and analysis also welcome experience, but not required
- Ability to interface with clients and mentor junior staff also welcome experience.
