They are seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to support their vision of becoming the best water consulting firm. As part of our team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and Wastewater treatment plants, including to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.
My client is seeking a strong technical Waste water - Professional Engineer for their Nashville office.
Responsibilities
- May have responsibility for several projects concurrently
- Delivers high quality services within budget and schedule constraints
- Serves in a project engineer, project lead, or project manager role depending upon experience on water and/or wastewater recovery projects
- Works collaboratively with engineering team and clients to plan, design, construct, and optimize water and wastewater facilities
- Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of medium to large sizes of moderately complex nature
- Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key staff of other organizations and companies
- Applies technical experience for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments
- Involved on team that prepares proposals, conducts interviews, and negotiates contracts with clients after selection
- Develops significant relationships with new and existing clients
- Active in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, officer of local or national organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer
- 7+years of directly-relevant experience in Wastewater Engineering working with Wastewater treatment facilities and Wastewater collection systems
- Must have demonstrated ability and experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized infrastructure projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
