Municipal Engineering Opportunity
The Municipal Engineering Department is actively seeking an experienced engineer with a minimum of five years' relevant background. This role involves designing, maintaining, and repairing wastewater treatment systems (P.E. certification required). The position can be based in any of their Illinois offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing systems for safe and efficient wastewater treatment, ensuring the removal of harmful substances and the return of water to the ecosystem. This includes creating treatment plants for both domestic and industrial water.
- Assessing the need for wastewater treatment systems based on current and projected future residences, conducting feasibility studies for water treatment facility construction.
