We are excited to announce that we have an immediate opening for the position of Senior Water Resources Project Manager within an esteemed and boutique civil engineering firm. Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual who can lead water resources projects with technical efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive knowledge in planning and implementing water resource management projects.
Responsibilities:
- Complete complex hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
- Design water resources improvements for highway and transit projects, with work in stormwater management, floodplain studies, hydraulic structures, low-impact developments, erosion and sediment control, NPDES and MS4 permitting and other related fields. Duties will also occasionally involve on-site assessments and inspections
- Manage construction observation and documentation efforts.
- Manage engineering/CAD technicians, surveyors, and sub-consultants
Minimum required experience:
- BS Civil or Environmental Engineering degree
- PE License
- 10 years professional experience consulting with public transportation and planning agencies
- Proven Microstation proficiency
The preferred candidate will possess:
- 3 or more years' experience with MDOT or MDE
- Experience with Bentley Openroads/GeoPAK/Inroads
