Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry
- Relevant Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong technical background in water treatment, wastewater treatment, pump stations, pipelines, conveyance, gravity sewer design, and water distribution systems
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools
- Project engineering and management experience
- Commitment to contributing to a positive company culture
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical expert in water/wastewater planning, design, and construction projects
- Mentor junior staff in design plan preparation for major mechanical engineering projects
- Prepare detailed sketches or layouts for municipal water or wastewater projects
- Supervise design, inspection, and construction of water and wastewater projects
- Provide detailed reports on contracts and recommendations
- Lead project planning and development activities
- Present design elements to clients through meetings and presentations
