We are partnered with a leading Geotechnical firm with a billion dollar financial backing and a vast amount of projects on the go for 2024. They are currently looking for a new Vice President to help shape the future of the company and continue driving the success of the business forward.
The Key Duties for the Position Include:
Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the geotechnical engineering division, developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth and enhance market presence.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality geotechnical solutions.
Team Building and Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of geotechnical professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Project Oversight: Oversee major geotechnical projects, ensuring their successful execution, adherence to timelines, and alignment with company standards.
Technical Excellence: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in geotechnical engineering to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of innovation.
Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the geotechnical division, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all geotechnical projects adhere to relevant local and national regulations, codes, and standards.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic vision.
Strong business acumen with experience in financial management and budgeting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
A history of successful team leadership and mentorship.
