Company Overview: We are working with a leading industrial construction company specializing in the design and construction of large-scale industrial facilities, Big Box warehouses and Distribution Centers.
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Travelling Senior Superintendent to oversee our projects throughout the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction Tilt Wall and Structural Concrete projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position that requires extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and codes.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.
- Manage and mentor site supervisors and field personnel.
- Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction, with a focus on projects over 100,000 SF.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
