Travelling Mechanical Project Manager
Our client, a leading construction company in the United States is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team. As a travelling mechanical project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial, industrial, healthcare and multifamily projects across different states.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working on MEP Construction (mechanical/electrical/plumbing) projects
- Proven track record of managing complex mechanical contracting jobs from start to finish within budget constraints.
- Experience with scheduling software such as MS Projects
Skills:
Project Management - Ability to oversee multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to budgets/timelines/safety protocols/quality standards.
Communication - Excellent communication skills both written & verbal are essential along with strong negotiation ability when dealing with clients/vendors/subcontractors/stakeholders etc.
Leadership - Strong leadership qualities including delegation abilities that can help motivate teams towards achieving objectives effectively whilst promoting teamwork spirit throughout all levels involved in any given task at hand.
Responsibilities :
* Manage assigned multi-million dollar mechanical engineering contracts by determining schedules; organizing resource allocation; coordinating subcontractor work products;
* Oversee day-to-day operations onsite during each phase of the project until final completion;
