Our client is seeking someone with experience in highway projects, roadway projects, and OpenRoads software who can manage complex transportation initiatives efficiently.
Job Summary:
Our client located in the growing city of Dallas, Texas seeks an innovative and goal-oriented individual for their full-time permanent position as a Transportation Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple teams across various locations while overseeing all aspects of large-scale infrastructure development projects from conception through completion.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) qualification preferably related to Engineering.
- PE license and Project Management Experience
- Proven work experience managing transportation-related construction operations
- Experience working on Highway/ Roadway Projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with a team as a project manager or task leader for primarily highway and/or local road projects in the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate for projects of various sizes and complexity
- Manage the following work elements: day-to-day communication (verbal and written) with the client, support and advise junior engineers and technical staff, write reports and technical memos, coordinate with subconsultants, keep project on schedule and within budget, and keep client satisfied
- Produce some of the following plans: Roadway Sections, Alignment/Right of Way Plans, Temporary Erosion Control Plans, Site Preparation Plans, Roadway Profiles, Drainage Plans and Profiles, Utility Plans (Water & Sewer), Paving, Pavement Marking Plans, Signing Plans, and Traffic Control Plans
- Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance workload throughout entire project's development
- Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings

Salary Range: $110,000-165,000 (depending on experience)
