We are currently partnering with a traffic/transport specialist consultancy in NSW who is looking for a Traffic Engineer to join the growing team in their Sydney office!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct traffic impact assessments and studies to evaluate the impact of proposed developments on the transportation network.
- Design and implement traffic management plans to optimize traffic flow and enhance safety.
- Analyze and interpret traffic data, including traffic counts, signal timings, and travel time data.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive transportation solutions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation related to traffic engineering projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic engineering or a related role.
- Proficient in SIDRA and AutoCAD or similar.
- Strong knowledge of traffic signal design, road safety, and transportation planning.
- Experienced in undertaking swept path analysis and traffic management plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
