Your Role:
As our Traffic Engineer II, you will be a crucial force in various transportation and traffic engineering projects. Your work will encompass both individual assignments and collaborative efforts with cross-disciplinary teams. Reporting directly to the Traffic Design Manager, you will receive daily task guidance from project managers, ensuring a seamless work flow.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing traffic engineering solutions for public and private clients. Our projects span a wide range, from standalone traffic signal projects to expansive urban freeway ventures. Your responsibilities will involve traffic signal and system design, highway lighting design, signing and pavement marking design, and maintenance of traffic design. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring junior staff, reviewing technical work, and liaising with clients and other design departments.

Key Skills, Competencies, Experience, and Certifications required:
โช ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering
โช Ohio PE Certification
โช 5-10 years of professional experience in traffic engineering design
โช MicroStation experience
โช Proficiency with Microsoft's Office suite of programs
โช Previous experience working in a team environment
โช Excellent written and verbal communication skills
