This renewable energy company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced solar project developer to join their team! As the primary point of contact for all aspects related to project approvals, you will play an integral role in securing favorable outcomes for multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure necessary approvals including SEQR, Special Use Permits, Site Plan and Subdivision Approvals
- Attend municipal board meetings and provide meeting support
- Contribute to securing PILOT agreements
- Ensure compliance with local, state & federal laws/regulations
- Manage engineering partners accordingly
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in business or renewable energy field (or equivalent experience)
-Five years of development experience preferred.
-Knowledgeable about construction management processes.
-Highly organized with excellent time/project management skills
Competencies: Good communication/interpersonal abilities; Documentation Management; Strong analytical/problem-solving skills ; Attention-to-detail even under pressure
