Urgently looking for a Business Development Manager to work for a leading International renewable energy firm in Tokyo, Japan. This company has a strong and growing pipeline of solar and battery projects in Japan. As part of the company's expansion, the company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead efforts in developing solar and battery storage projects across Japan.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and pursue solar and battery storage project opportunities in Japan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, utilities, developers, EPC contractors, investors, and other relevant entities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tenders for solar and battery storage projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, finance, legal, and project management to develop and execute project plans that meet client objectives and financial targets.
- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company's expertise and capabilities in solar and battery storage solutions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, project pipelines, and market developments.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, technologies, and policy developments related to solar and battery storage projects in Japan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing solar and battery storage project deals in Japan.
- Strong understanding of Japanese market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and incentives for renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in Japanese and English languages is required.
