Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to join our team across multiple offices in Iowa. This role is heavily focused on business development and client relations, alongside project management.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the water and wastewater sectors.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and bids.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence and client base.
- Network with industry professionals and participate in relevant conferences and events.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitor activities.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and updates on project status.
- Address and resolve any client concerns promptly and effectively.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple water/wastewater projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and oversee project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance on water and wastewater treatment processes and systems.
- Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and plans.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional growth opportunities.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field required.
- Master's degree or additional certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater project management, with a focus on business development and client relations.
- Proven track record of successfully securing and managing multimillion-dollar projects.
Skills:
