Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer with over 8 years of professional experience to lead and manage water resources projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license and possess a strong background in hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality management. Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage water resources projects from conception through completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
Technical Expertise:
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard software.
- Design and evaluate stormwater management systems, flood control structures, and water quality treatment facilities.
- Conduct watershed and water quality modeling to support project objectives.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and review permit applications, environmental impact statements, and regulatory reports.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources engineering.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE SHE).
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management, floodplain management, and water quality regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule management.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
