Job Title: Water/Wastewater (W/WW) Department Lead (6% 401K Match)
Position Overview: The W/WW Department Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of water and wastewater projects within the company. This individual will provide technical expertise, leadership, and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Water/Wastewater Department, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on water and wastewater treatment processes, system design, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and address project requirements.
- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Mentor and develop staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the department.
- Monitor project performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project objectives.
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to water and wastewater management.
- Foster positive client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on water and wastewater-related issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, including design, construction, and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
