Position: Senior Project Manager (Structural Focus)
Role & Company Overview
Currently Seeking a Team Leader/ Senior Project Manager to oversee and support the daily operations of consultants, assistant project managers and project managers while also managing assigned projects. As well as being technically involved a Senior Project Manager will also be involved in the financial aspects of the business attending meetings concerning finance and accounting to review profit and loss of the business, while also conducting their own meetings to review operations of project managers and consultants.
With each member of the team being focused on how they can individually grow as well as facilitate further growth of the team, a Senior Project Manager will also attend client meetings and conferences to represent and market the company relating to current projects and proposing new projects. The expectation of an up and running Senior Project Manager will be to expertly manage existing work while also being proficient in generating work for themselves and other members of the team, whether this is by expertly producing proposals with existing business contacts or by bringing their own contacts.

As a Structural Condition's Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical tasks, including but not limited to:
Client Marketing and Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to execute strategic client marketing initiatives.
- Foster strong client relationships through regular communication and engagement.
Client Representation:
- Serve as the company's ambassador at client meetings, including after-hours and evening Board meetings, as required.
- Uphold the company's professional standards and values in all client interactions.
Proposal Development and Site Visits:
- Conduct thorough site visits to assess project requirements and generate comprehensive proposals, including setting fee and staffing plans.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including employee scheduling and ensuring timely delivery of work products.
- Review employee work product and time sheets to maintain quality standards.
Employee Development and Policy Implementation:
- Foster employee growth and development through effective training and mentorship initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Innovative Program Development:
- Collaborate with team members to develop innovative programs that support overall company growth and well-being.
- Promote a positive work environment aligned with the company culture and mission statement.
Quality Assurance and Field Reporting:
- Conduct thorough quality assurance construction observations and generate detailed field reports.
- Prepare mock-up scopes of work, observe contractor construction activities, and conduct integrity testing.
Condition Surveys and Client Reporting:
- Perform comprehensive condition surveys of existing structures and deliver detailed findings reports to clients.
- Review reports with clients to address any questions or concerns.
Design Specifications and Repair Details:
- Collaborate with the Design Studio to develop design specifications and repair details for projects.
Business Development Support:
- Support Business Development and Marketing managers in prospecting, qualifying leads, and follow-up activities.
- Develop proposals for additional tasks within existing projects to maximise client satisfaction and project profitability.
Client Base Maintenance and Growth:
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing clients to harvest work opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the client base.
