Our ideal Senior Project Manager has:
* 10+ years' experience managing construction projects ($5M+ projects)
* Experience managing a project team
* Willing to live in the Albany, NY area
Preferred
* Experience utilizing Lean principles of construction
* OSHA 30-hour safety certification
Desired
* 4-year degree in a related field (construction, engineering, architecture)
* Currently living in the Albany, NY area
* Experience operating on EOSยฎ
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of individual construction projects, including but not limited to:
Project-Based Responsibilities
* Ensure effective planning, estimating, procurement, change order execution, and critical path scheduling
* Monitor the progress of assigned projects, ensuring quality output and timely results consistent with corporate policies, expectations, and goals
* Own all aspects of projects from pre-construction services to close-out and follow-up:
o Preconstruction - Identify missing considerations and anticipate what is needed in final documents
o Process management - RFIs, shop drawings and submittal review, meeting minutes, adjusting schedules
o Procurement - Purchase orders, subcontracts, etc.
o Closeout - Final punch list, contract closeout, purchase order completions, onsite training
* Follow and carry out Sano-Rubin's policies and procedures
* Establish a Lean standard of work
* Identify issues, measure work, `and develop improvement plans
* Plan and direct the work to ensure all budgets, timelines, project plans and productivity goals are met
* Act as liaison to client leadership
* Review contracts and advise leadership on any issues
