Senior Project Manager for Leading Midwest Construction Company
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead our dynamic team at one of the oldest General Contractors in the Midwest. Our company specializes in warehouse and manufacturing projects, with a strong backlog of work until 2026. As we continue to grow, we need someone who can bring their expertise and leadership skills to help us deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of project management from planning through execution
- Manage budgets, schedules, resources and ensure timely delivery within scope
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on job sites
- Build relationships with clients while maintaining effective communication throughout projects
Qualifications/Skills Required:
1) The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale industrial building construction in the manufacturing or warehouse & distribution markets
2) Strong Leadership Skills - Must be able to manage teams effectively whilst keeping everyone aligned towards common goals.
3) Proven Track Record - must demonstrate previous success managing multiple complex commercial/industrial construction sites simultaneously across Illinois region including Chicago metropolitan area.
4) Excellent Communication Skills - Ability communicate clearly both verbally/written forms is required along ability understand various technical terms related architecture/engineering drawings/documentation.
Education/Certification Requirements:
The senior position requires candidates possess university degree(s)/diploma(s) or related experience; PMP certification would also be preferred but not mandatory requirement if you meet all other qualifications/skill set mentioned above.
