Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans that align with organizational goals and client requirements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Project Execution: Oversee the entire lifecycle of data center construction projects, from initiation through to completion, managing all aspects of budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Technical Proficiency: Apply an in-depth understanding of data center construction principles, including critical power and cooling systems, to lead projects to successful outcomes.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary liaison with clients, maintaining open lines of communication, providing regular project updates, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a team of project professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to strict quality control standards, comply with relevant codes and regulations, and meet or exceed industry benchmarks for sustainability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale data center construction projects, with extensive experience in a leadership role.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mission-critical facility requirements and best practices in data center construction.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as Uptime Institute Tier Standards and ASHRAE guidelines.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly regarded.
