About the Role
You will join a leading consulting firm in Sydney, with the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and complex projects across the buildings and infrastructure industry. Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for projects from initial design, through to construction and final review.
- Working in collaboration with other design disciplines, locally and regionally to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
- Managing projects or project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications.
- Assisting in workload management and resource forecasting and involved in preparation of proposal documentation.
- Reviewing and ensuring compliance, including drawings, reports, specifications, survey, access, and preparation of appraisals.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, recognizing, and developing potential business opportunities.
Key Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design and commissioning of M&E systems in modern commercial and industrial buildings. Data Center Experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead project team members on technical delivery. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Sufficient experience to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
- Organised approach and ability to accept increased responsibility and produce accurate and detailed work.
- High level of computer literacy and exposure to BIM / Revit will be highly desired, with advanced problem-solving skills through investigation and analysis.
