We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior geotechnical engineer to join our team in the bustling city of South Plainfield, New Jersey. As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish and providing technical leadership throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage site investigations
- Conduct fieldwork activities such as drilling supervision or soil testing
- Provide expert guidance on foundation design options based on project-specific conditions.
- Analyze data related to ground movement/instability risks using tools like LVI technology
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering with specialization(s) relevant experience required.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years' professional work experience working within the Construction industry,
Previous involvement managing medium-to-large size engineering teams is mandatory;
Proven track record overseeing large-scale infrastructure works
Skills Required :
1. Expertise Knowledge about soils mechanics application into various phases involving land planning, environmental impact assessment etc.;
2. Experience with interpreting results generated by software programs designed specifically for assessing risk levels associated;
3 Excellent communication skills - ability convey complex ideas succinctly both verbally/written formats ;
4 Strong analytical/critical thinking abilities necessary when reviewing statistics/data trends relating structural integrity assessments;
