We are partnered with a leading, fast growing Geotechnical firm in Houston. They work on a range of projects and are receiving an array of projects already in 2024. They are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to come into the business to help drive it forward and take a lead on the projects in progress. The successful engineer will also have the chance to come into the business and develop into the department manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects, including site investigations, foundation design, and slope stability analysis.
- Conduct geotechnical analyses and provide expert recommendations for project design and construction.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil and structural engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project delivery.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a focus on projects in the Houston area.
- Strong expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical analysis.
- Proven project management experience with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
