We are partnered with an established geotechnical consultancy who are currently looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to come in and assist with the backlog of projects for 2024. The main focus of projects is in the environmental sector and they are never short on projects, with 90% coming from repeat business working with both public and private clients. They are experiencing incredible growth and have one of the best retention rates in the industry and even grew during covid!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design for a variety of projects.
- Provide technical expertise in foundation design, slope stability analysis, retaining structures, and other geotechnical aspects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of geotechnical considerations into overall project design.
- Conduct field investigations, site inspections, and prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on complex geotechnical issues.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnical preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proven track record in managing geotechnical projects from conception to completion.
- Strong proficiency in geotechnical software and design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
