Company Summary: A leading IPP of Utility Scale PV, BESS, and Wind is looking to grow their team with Senior Electrical Engineering Manager! This position will be apart of the Engineering Department, supporting LV-MV Execution. The company has developed over 7,500MW and operates over 7,00W of renewable assets!
Responsibilities
- Oversee and expedite EPC and consultant's document submissions, design deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
- Serve as a liaison between the Engineering group and various internal departments to facilitate interdepartmental relations.
- Prepare electrical-related documents including scopes, budgets, specifications, schedules, and RFPs.
- Ensure the production of high-quality electrical engineering plans, studies, and specifications in compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage electrical engineering consultant's work, including design for collection systems, substations, energy storage facilities, and interconnection facilities.
- Oversee 4+ direct reports and manage external consultants
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- PE license
- 7+ years of design and engineering experience in Utility Scale Projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage large scale complex construction projects from start-up through closeout; understanding critical path scheduling techniques required
- Understanding of applicable standards and codes
