- Collaborating with technical, engineering, finance, and asset management teams to assess project development risks and valuation assumptions.
- Supporting the greenfielding department by providing insights based on development experience.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and financial inputs, reporting changes as development progresses.
- Establishing and refine processes, workflow procedures, and risk review processes for utility-scale projects.
- Working closely with the M&A team, managing project diligence for external project sellers, screening projects, and negotiating MIPAs.
The qualifications for this role include...
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet, and budgeting in MS Excel or similar programs.
- Multiple years of hands-on experience in utility-scale solar project development.
- Proven track record in managing development projects and teams.
- Well-established network of third-party development experts, including those in real estate, permitting, environmental, and interconnection.
- In-depth knowledge of development studies, real estate activities, environmental and local permitting, and interconnection processes.
- A four-year college degree.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support development activities.
