Seeking a personable, team player to be responsible for delivering quality solutions and services to customers using the technologies provided by DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, and AMS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform operator and maintenance training as well as process control equipment installation and startup.
- Perform system upgrades and preventative maintenance activities.
- Application of new automation products on a regular basis.
- Achieve technical knowledge of the products and services for the customer
Typical work assignments include:
- Develop and implement control system configuration.
- Perform engineering and design studies.
- Design and implement effective operator interfaces using DeltaV.
- Integrating PLC's, safety systems, and field devices into DeltaV.
- Perform testing, construction, and installation of designed control solutions.
Basic qualifications include:
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial Technology
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve as a leader and mentor other engineers
Other preferred attributes/skills:
- Manufacturing and Process Control experience
- Able to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical schematics.
- Experience with DeltaV application and configuration.
- Instrumentation, field devices, and equipment troubleshooting, commissioning, and calibration
