Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Control Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration, ideally within food and beverage manufacturing or related fields. They require someone passionate about automation, possessing strong technical skills, and with a proven track record of delivering complex control systems projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for various industrial applications, with a focus on the food and beverage industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and establish technical specifications.
- Lead PLC, HMI, and SCADA system design and programming using industry-leading software tools.
- Conduct remote and on-site system integration testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in control systems engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of control systems engineering experience, preferably in system integration.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMI/SCADA development, and industrial communication protocols.
- Familiarity with food and beverage industry standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, GMP) is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to client sites.
