LVI is currently looking for a Senior Building Consultant for a industry leading Tier 1 firm in Dallas.
About the Company:
- The company has around 30-40 consultants and engineers, and compete against the biggest firms in the industry, regularly winning work against their competitors.
- The average tenure of employees is 10 years which is a testament to the culture they've built across the years.
- Due to their quality work, they known to be market specialists in their field and as a result have many repeat clients and did not lay off anyone during the pandemic.
- In the next few months they are looking for someone to grow their Texas office! Meaning plenty of opportunity to lead teams, business develop and grow new service lines.
Responsibilities:
- Schedules and performs field inspections and necessary site visits to evaluate the extent of the damage
- Estimates medium to large commercial high rise projects using Xactimate.
- Documents, reviews, and analyzes; schedules, contracts, change orders, correspondence, daily reports, meeting minutes, monthly reports, and any additional documents related to the project/file
- Provide technical assistant to other consultants and engineers, by interacting and supporting their submitted files
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers to help develop new business opportunities and continue to create and strengthen new/existing client relationships
Qualifications:
- The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of in construction defect on mid-high rise commercial projects., but also be flexible and a strategic thinker, able to take on a variety of tasks
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Must have experience supervising complex projects to completion by directing subordinates and providing detailed direction and training.
