Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Security System Engineer to join a regional Building Technologies integrator in North Jersey. As a Security System Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security system technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Program security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
* Perform maintenance and upgrades on security systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems
* Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine security system requirements
* Provide technical support to clients and other team members
* Create and maintain documentation for security systems
* Keep up-to-date with emerging security system technologies and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in installing, and programming security systems
* Strong understanding of security system technologies, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* Valid driving licence is required.
