Position: Sales Director (Renewable Energy)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead the company's strategy and growth efforts for their renewable energy portfolio. As the Sales Director, you will play a critical role in expanding the company's market presence through new business development and managing long-term service contracts with clients seeking renewable energy solutions. Your responsibilities will include negotiating and executing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with a range of large international off takers to local businesses in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to drive growth in the renewable energy sector, focusing on expanding the company's portfolio and enhancing market share.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
- Contract Management: Lead negotiations, contracting, and execution of PPAs, ensuring alignment with company goals and client requirements.
- Client Management: Oversee long-term service contracts and manage ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings and address client needs.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: University degree in business, finance or law.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years specifically in the renewable energy sector.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating sales teams
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with extensive experience in negotiations and delivering effective presentations.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Japanese, with strong communication and negotiation skills Japanese is a must.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the renewable energy market, including PPAs and contract management.
- Analytic Skills: Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
