A leading Engineering and Construction Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Project Manager to join our expanding Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) practice. With a focus on exemplary service to a diverse clientele in the utility, municipal, energy, and industrial sectors, we are committed to driving innovation in sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities: As an integral part of our team, the RNG Project Manager will:
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases, from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of engineering projects, including safety, siting, environmental permitting, planning, estimating, and procurement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, coordinating efforts, managing project finances, and ensuring environmental compliance.
- Participate in project risk reviews and consult with the Legal Department as needed.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
- Identify business opportunities, lead proposal efforts, and establish strong client relationships.
- Provide mentorship and training for the project team, ensuring their professional development.
- Implement project policies, procedures, and control systems, ensuring adherence to QA/QC guidelines.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited program.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in design engineering, including 3+ years in project management.
- Demonstrated success in project management and client relationship development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with RNG project development, gas processing design, and construction.
- Understanding of the waste-to-energy industry and regulatory landscape.
- Proficiency in project management software and document control systems.
- Previous consulting and design-build experience preferred.
- Professional Registration or the ability to obtain within the first six (6) months preferred.
