Introduction:
My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern USA. Our client is a leading renewable energy company that specializes in providing high-quality distribution electrical transformers to cooperatives, IOUs, and municipalities. As the regional sales manager, you will be responsible for managing a multi-state sales force while achieving growth by building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales team effectively to achieve targets
- Set objectives and coach business development representatives
- Build long-lasting partnerships with customers within designated regions
- Identify emerging markets & market shifts; stay updated on new products/competition status.
- Assist in recruiting & setting up of new goals with Director of Sales.
Skills Knowledge And Expertise:
Qualifications required:
* At least five years' proven outside-sales experience including business-development skills;
* Experience working directly or indirectly (e.g., through manufacturing) with utilities/municipalities/cooperatives regarding transformer sector,
* Five-years' minimum management experience at multi-state level;
