Job Summary: Your main day to day responsibilities will consist of being of support to breakout sales growth and market share gain. You will also then participate in developing the pricing, sales and channel strategies of our company whilst actively building, promoting and support a value selling approach to expand margins. Some of your co-workers are inclusive of outside sales, applications engineering, system piloting, and marketing. Each RSM will have a territory. Each region will then have targets that will contribute to the outcome of the commissions.
You will also be responsible for developing and directing the strategy for retention of existing account base and development of new capital customers whilst ensuring the maintenance of personal customer contact and providing a positive direction for major accounts and prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand the products and features of our products. Be able to fully present, explain our full catalogue of product offerings.
- You will need to seek out potential customers, follow up on leads generated by the corporation, and qualify those customers or potential customers for application of products / systems
- Engage, train, and develop the sales and marketing team to deliver accelerated growth
- Survey the plants for data, layouts, and required information enough to ensure the provision of contracts/proposals for appropriate equipment and preliminary flow schematics.
- Close the sale of proposed equipment, collecting down payment, signed proposals/contracts.
- Provide the final design and utility details on the order confirmation sheet.
- Keep track of ongoing contact with all accounts and maintenance of these contacts throughout
- Submit weekly travel plans, weekly detailed call reports with expense reports, and annual sales forecast with an accompanying plan for covering applicable markets within the designated territory.
Requirements:
- You are self-starting, energetic and a team player who communicates well.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or Business (or related)
- Experience in negotiating terms and conditions
- Demonstrated ability to lead others in the relevant area
- Knowledge on the concepts of heating, water, and wastewater treatment and industrial capital equipment markets.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office software especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM system especially Salesforce is a plus.>
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness and ability to travel 50%
- Work Environment: Office environment, Industrial facilities and Manufacturing plants - Loud environments exceeding 80 decibels (pumps, heater fans)
