We are currently hiring for a Project Quality Manager for an Offshore Wind manufacturer and the position will be based on site. The position welcomes overseas expats to apply.
As a Quality Assurance and Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality management system of our projects. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and Fabrication Manager, you'll identify and address quality issues during fabrication. This role demands expertise in both quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC).
Responsibilities:
Develop standards and templates for QM monitoring documents and procedures.
Prepare project-specific QA procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Project Quality Plans (PQP).
Advise and assist project team members on quality management matters.
Evaluate subcontractors' Quality Plans and conduct audits in line with quality requirements.
Ensure Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for projects.
Develop a risk-based quality management approach aligned with FIDIC contracts.
Implement verification and validation approaches in Systems Engineering for auditing.
Monitor project-specific quality plans and optimize processes based on lessons learned.
Evaluate administrative quality requirements for contracts and collaborate with planning and change control functions.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in large, complex projects, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or offshore (wind).
Master's degree in a relevant field and specialized training in Quality Management and Project Management preferred.
Experience as a hands-on quality manager and certified lead auditor (ISO 9001-2015).
Familiarity with ISO 3834, EN 1090, and ASNT or ISO9712 UT Level 3 certification preferred.
Ability to work effectively in an international environment and influence stakeholders.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in English (Chinese proficiency is an advantage).
Willingness to travel for quality events and relocate to Taiwan.
