Our client is currently seeking an experienced project manager to oversee multiple electrical utility distribution and substation construction projects, as well as solar field construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of the project's development while working closely with customers to ensure timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of project construction from start to finish
- Provide leadership direction that ensures effective teamwork among team members.
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the duration of each phase within assigned areas
- Attend meetings related to planning, pre-designs and designs; coordinate these efforts effectively
- Inspect sites regularly; review design reviews across disciplines against code compliance requirements
- Review documents submitted by subcontractors or vendors ensuring adherence contract specifications & timelines
- Prepare correspondence requiring Contracting Officer's signature communicating A/E evaluation performance metrics
- Track progress on goals, objectives budgets using appropriate software
- Monitor expenditures associated with budgetary constraints
Required Qualifications:
To succeed in this role you must have experience fulfilling similar responsibilities along with other qualifications including but not limited too:
- Minimum three years' work experience preferably medium-to-high voltage transmission/substation/solar fields;
- Bachelor's degree preferred - Electrical Engineering qualification highly desirable;
- Proficient computer literacy skills specifically MS Word/Excel/Project /PowerPoint etc.;
- Strong communication abilities both written/oral professional language use required ;
- Familiarity tracking CPM schedules , RFIs/submittals/payments analysis essential,
- OSHA safety training certification preferable
