A leading firm in the energy industry specializing in gas transmission and distribution projects is looking for a Project Manager with strong leadership skills along with extensive experience managing complex pipeline and facilities construction projects. This client is looking for someone who will manage the successful execution of projects from concept to completion meanwhile coordinating client relationships. This position will sit out of the firm's Houston office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, direct, and coordinate all parts of pipelines & facilities projects
- Build and nurture client relationships, fostering repeat business and diversifying service offerings
- Responsible for financial outcomes of projects, ensuring their successful and timely completion
- Create and execute project policies and procedures, institute systems for project controls, and put into action the project execution plans
- Collaborate closely with the project team to verify that deliverables and services meet client expectations and align with internal QA/QC guidelines for project compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or related field)
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in oil & gas space; minimum of 3 years spent managing natural gas engineering projects
- Proven achievements in project management
- Demonstrated proficiency in cultivating business and building client relationships
