They are currently dominating multiple markets in the industry including Commercial, TxDOT and Transportation, Industrial and Environmental. The current expansion plans are in the works and the Austin office is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the business critical backlog of projects for 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage geotechnical projects from cradle to grave, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Conduct site investigations, soil testing, and geotechnical analyses to assess site conditions and provide recommendations for design and construction.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Mentor and support junior staff members, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on project management.
- Strong technical proficiency in geotechnical analysis, soil mechanics, and foundation design.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as gINT, PLAXIS, and Slope/W is a plus.
- Experience working on projects in the Austin area or Central Texas region is desirable.
