LVI Associates is working with a renowned architecture firm specialising in the design and construction of large-scale industrial projects worth over €80 million. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Project Leader to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our industrial projects in Essen or Düsseldorf.
As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for spearheading the planning, design, and execution of complex industrial projects. Your role will involve collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, overseeing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions. This position demands exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for contributing to the growth of industrial infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire project life-cycle, from initial concept development to project completion, ensuring that projects are executed on time and within budget.
- Provide strategic design direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring designs align with client objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, engage with key stakeholders, and act as the primary point of contact to address concerns, provide updates, and secure project approvals.
- Mentor and motivate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and support staff, to drive project success and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Identify, evaluate, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and closely monitor project finances to ensure profitability.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and presentations. Provide regular project status updates to firm leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management, with a strong focus on industrial projects.
- Professional license or registration as an architect is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering large-scale industrial projects.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and architectural design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of industrial building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Fluent in German both written and verbal
