This firm is looking for a Project Landscape Architect to join them in their Dallas, TX office. This individual will be serving the key functions of leading and providing the planning, designing and permitting of landscape architecture for all of the Texas office. This opportunity will provide an exposure of a diverse range of projects from retail and commercial site planning, healthcare, university campuses, urban revitalisation, streetscape, smart growth planning, community planning, residential and industrial design and more!
Brief responsibilities:
- Able to assist with discipline leadership with planning, design and permitting of landscape, civil engineering and planning projects.
- Coordinate with staff to prepare cost estimates, zoning analyses and determine the feasibility of projects.
- Write and review draft reports, including proposals and technical specification.
- Plan, schedule and develop task and project budget.
- Prepare progress reports and draft changes.
- Provide direct oversight and management of staff and senior staff for projects.
- Remain current on landscape practice, guidelines, regulations and best management practices.
- Attend internal training to expand knowledge and skills.
- Coach, train and motivate staff.
Requirements:
- BSc in Landscape Architecture
- 8+ Years of experience
- Landscape Architecture License in good standing.
- Experience in technical skills - AutoCAD, photoshop, adobe creative suite, Lumion, illustrator, and 3D modelling.
- Ability to network - maintaining new and existing relationship with clients.
- Ability to work with multi-discipline team.
- Driver's License - good standing.
