Position: Renewable Energy Project Finance Manager

The Project Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing, maintaining, and adapting complex financial models for wind and solar projects in line with the project needs
- Performing internal model audits, report on logical consistency / arithmetical accuracy and provide corrections / modelling improvements as necessary
- Negotiating terms sheets and transaction documents for senior debt and tax equity investment
- Managing due diligent processes and data rooms, and act as primary point of contact
- Evaluating new project opportunities and present recommendations together with the Development Manager
- Supporting creation and tracking of project specific development budgets
- Closely collaborating with the development and engineering teams to identify project finance needs
- Identifying new sources of debt funding to optimize company's financing costs
- Keeping up on trends in the renewable energy sector in general as well as renewable energy project finance
The Project Finance Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of finance or project finance
- Experience with tax equity investments for renewable projects
- Wind and/or solar energy industry experience in the US and/or internationally
- Excellent financial modelling skills in MS Excel (with a basic understanding of VBA)
- Ability to dissect complex agreements/contracts, and drafting improvement ideas
- Self-organized team-player with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Solid knowledge of financial market and renewable energy sector
- University degree (Master's degree and other certifications such as CFA are favorable)
- Valid driver's license
