Position Overview:
As a Project Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and executing environmental projects throughout Orange County. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong background in environmental engineering and a passion for creating sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and assist in managing environmental projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Environmental Assessments: Conduct environmental site assessments, site investigations, and impact assessments to identify and address potential environmental issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about environmental regulations and ensure that projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental laws.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
- Data Analysis: Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Field Work: Conduct fieldwork as necessary, including site inspections, remediation O&M, sample collection, and environmental monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on project management.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for environmental engineering.
