Job Title: Project Engineer - ODOT Projects/Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Eugene or Portland, Oregon

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in either our Eugene or Portland, Oregon office.
Job Description: The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering aspects of our ODOT projects and heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both project management and engineering, and will be able to lead and coordinate all aspects of project planning, design, and construction. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and oversee all engineering aspects of ODOT projects and heavy civil construction projects.
- Lead and coordinate project planning, design, and construction activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on ODOT projects.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate project planning, design, and construction activities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address engineering issues in a timely manner.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software tools.
