The leading US anaerobic digester developer is seeking a Project Engineer to support the construction and project managers in ensuring the quality and assurance on the engineering deliverables of their sites under construction. Through an innovative closed-loop anaerobic digestion process this company works to convert organic waste and content into green electricity, renewable natural gas, and other valuable bi-products.
In this role, you would be involved with project-specific commissioning planning, compliance monitoring, reporting, and collaboration with project stakeholders. You'll be at the forefront of the mission to make a positive impact on the environment and contribute to a sustainable future. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Review IFQ drawings, suggest modifications.
- Evaluate vendor technical submittals, coordinate internal reviews.
- Analyze change requests from system providers, provide feedback to Construction Manager.
- Participate in weekly project manager meetings for technology updates.
- Standardize Vanguard technical solutions (e.g., containers).
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests, review work at vendor sites.
- Coordinate with Balance of Plant and Agricultural Engineers for effective communication.
- Ensure plant control integration meets expectations.
- Collect documentation from major suppliers, maintain quality control.
- Provide technical clarifications to construction team.
- Coordinate with Process Engineer for procurement recommendations.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 5 years of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project.
- Advanced analytical skills for problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Must report to Weston, MA office (hybrid work).
- Travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in analyzing production equipment, processes, and materials.
- Advanced knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control.
- Ability to prioritize and manage large, complex projects.
- Experience in water, waste water, or anaerobic development.
