Responsibilities:
Project Support and Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and team to support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.
- Assist in developing detailed project schedules, work plans, and cost estimates.
- Participate in the procurement process by obtaining quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report project status to the Project Manager regularly.
- Conduct on-site visits to inspect construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and stakeholders to address technical issues and maintain project momentum.
Team Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate closely with the project team, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field staff and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Participate actively in project meetings and provide valuable input on project-related decisions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and project delivery methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in civil construction projects, including site development, utilities, roadways, or similar areas.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
