Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of cost and scheduling experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the customer to ensure seamless communication for planning and construction controls aspects of electrical utility projects.
- Lead and develop the controls team in understanding Primavera P6 scheduling and the critical path method to develop and update internal and external schedule tracking.
- Work closely with project management to understand project scope, cost budget, timeline, and assumptions to build the baseline schedule and incorporate updates efficiently.
- Stay current on construction management trends and ensure Project Management personnel are informed of significant changes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive project controls skills with a track record of managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs.
- Capability to oversee numerous projects throughout the portfolio.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial and productivity accounting terminology, tracking methods, KPIs, and Earned Value.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards, EcoSys, and ProCore.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
