Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Process Engineer with experience in engineering design and consulting to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and implementing processes for our clients, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of existing processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop innovative process designs and solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed process models and simulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the project life cycle.
- Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to process engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in process engineering, with a focus on engineering design and consulting.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical/life sciences, food and beverage, and industrial laundry clients preferred.
- Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, ChemCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and optimize processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to process engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in consulting or engineering services preferred.
